In the latest episode of BV Unmuted, Superintendent Dr. Gillian Chapman is joined by pediatrician and Blue Valley parent Dr. Libby Milkovich, Blue Valley executive director of school administration Amy Farthing and Blue Valley executive director of academic services Kelly June to discuss how to help children and teenagers build healthy screen time habits and find balance in an evolving digital world.

The district has determined the last day of the 2025-26 school year for students will be May 21. This allows schools to maximize instructional time and uphold the district’s commitment to providing rigorous, engaging and equitable learning experiences for every student.

The proposed 2027-28 school year calendar was presented to the Board of Education at the March 9 meeting. The calendar is now available for review. Comments can be submitted via this feedback form. The board will vote on the 2027-28 calendar at the April meeting.
